FDi Systems have spent many hours at the available Mil Spec 901D approved testing authorities in the USA and have successfully achieved Grade A certification for Video multiplexer equipment as well as our military grade rack mount servers and PCs. Mil Spec 901D Grade A is up to quantity 4 of 30g 11ms pulse shocks and the equipment must be fully operational before, during and after the test.

The video clip above shows the FDi Systems equipment for the new US Aircraft Carrier CVN-78 being shock tested at Hi-test Laboratories in Arvonia. FDi Systems have been designing equipment to meet this harsh and demanding military specification for over 16 years and have a virtual 100% pass record for all equipment submitted. Our equipment is designed to be installed in appropriate rated racks fitted with 901D rated shock isolators. When installed as described, our equipment will withstand the required 30g pulse shocks and go on to give many years of trouble free service.
